Is your roof ready for the winter?

Is your roof ready for winter?
Remember those cold days, and long winter nights? Is your roof ready? We can’t forget the major snow storms that dropped several feet of snow each storm, and broke records all last season. We shoveled over 100 roofs during last years season, and I can honestly say, I have never seen so much Ice and snow create so much interior water damage.

After the last winter season had past, we started researching some other methods for ice removal, and ice dam prevention. We have found a good company that created a de-icing system, that eliminates ice dams from forming automatically along the eves and in the valleys. This de-icing system has a thermostat that will turn off and on when the temperature falls below 40 degrees. This system is very expensive, and requires a dedicated circuit from your main electrical panel.

This system will prevent interior damage from happening. We also have our roof maintenance, or roof shoveling packages available for the season. Anyone who would like to be put on our priority customer list please contact our office for more information. With a purchase of one of our winter roof maintenance packages, you can also request a winter inspection with one of our roofing specialist. I will begin my weekly blog entry's, so make sure to check in for more of Dave Deschaine's Southern Maine Home Improvements. See the winter roof shoveling video below.

    Dear Dave,

I would like to commend your staff for outstanding customer service, promptness, and professionalism.

Most people think dealing with contracting/construction/roofing companies could be like a scene out of a Chevy Chase movie.
My experience with Dave Deschaine and company in general, David Vincent, Chris and Matt (the installers) in particular, was the antithesis of Funny Farm or Christmas Vacation.
From beginning to end, my wife and I felt comfortable with Team Deschaine.

Firstly, I was greeted by a friendly, polite, and punctual professional: David Vincent.
...He worked with us and created a situation that dealt with our concerns and addressed our needs. He explained in detail (but in laymen terms) how the install would be executed, the pricing, and guarantee of quality work. And indeed, quality work was delivered!
David Vincent, Production Manager, is the Director of First Impressions, so he set the friendly tone.

The team of Chris and Matt was just as professional and courteous; and they were respectful of our time and property. They were friendly, and addressed my questions. These gentlemen kept me apprised of a situation that may have impeded the progress and success of a lesser company, but Chris and Matt worked hard to resolve the issue with which I was concerned, and did so in a very timely manner.
(The work-flow nor quality ever suffered)
They did not hem and haw, but made sure I was comfortable and delivered the proverbial goods (a great looking and functional addition to our home).
My wife and I are very pleased and would highly recommend your company.

Believe me, if my encounter was less than stellar or deviated from expectations set-forth by Dave Deschaine's representatives, I would (and will) just as vociferously voice my opinion on the matter.
After speaking to Dave Deschaine himself, I was assured that they would "come right over and fix it" if ever there was a situation that warranted attention. That is a guarantee!

Good quality work is hard to find today, but can be found with Dave Deschaine and team.

I truly believe Dave Deschaine and his entire staff to be people of their word.

    Sincerely,

    Joe D from South Portland
